Using Sparsy
By creating an account or signing in, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Sparsy.
Your account
- Give a real email address you control; Sparsy confirms it with a code.
- Keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
Your information
What you enter stays yours. You let Sparsy store and process it only to provide the service, including showing shared accounts to the people you share them with. When you share an account, everyone on it can see and change its entries.
Not financial advice
Sparsy is a record-keeping tool. Its totals, budgets, reports, reminders and exchange-rate conversions depend on what you enter and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not financial, tax or legal advice; check anything important before relying on it.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Sparsy for anything unlawful or to harm others.
- Do not try to reach accounts or data that are not yours, or to disrupt or overload the service.
- Do not invite people who have not agreed to be part of your books.
Availability
Sparsy is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. It may change, pause or stop, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sergio Oporto is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from decisions made using Sparsy, from data you entered, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using Sparsy at any time and delete your account under Settings → Account.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and significant changes are announced in the app. Continuing to use Sparsy after a change means you accept it.
